Day 1: Arrival Addis Ababa 

Up on arrival at Bole international air port and met by Ghion Travel and Tours representatives and transfer to hotel. After check in to hotel, you will have a city tour of Addis. It includes; National Museum, the home of the famous complete hominid fossil remain of Lucy dates 3.2 million years back, Mount Entoto, panoramic view point at the highest peak in Addis with an altitude of 3200 meter above sea level, Trinity Cathedral, a beautiful church with a baroque style of European architecture unique to both Ethiopia and Africa, Ethnographic Museum and Merkato (the largest open air market in Africa). Overnight in your hotel

Day 2- Addis-Gondar- Sankaber 

Morning, transfer to airport to fly to Gonder. Up on arrival, drive from Gonder to semien mountains national park. Semien Mountain Park is the most marvelous of all Abyssinian landscape that constitutes one of the major mountain massifs in Africa. The region includes many summits above 4000 meter above sea level and culminates at the highest peak in Ethiopia, Ras Dashen, 4620 meter above sea level, the 4th peak in African continent. Overnight camping at Sankaber

Day 3- Sankaber- Geech 

After breakfast, trek from Sankaber to Geech enjoying the breathtaking scenery of Semen Mountain. Here you may have a chance to see colobus monkey in the lowland forest if you have very good binocular. Overnight camping 

Day 4- Geech- Chenek 

After breakfast trek from Geech to Chenek- the only place in the park, if you are extremely lucky, you can see rock hyrax. Here, there are many places at chenek to see the endemic Walya Ibex. Overnight camping 

Day 5- Chenek- Ambiko 

After breakfast you will trek from Chenek to Ambiko to see the endemic Walya Ibex more closely and to mount at the second peak of the park with an altitude of 4437masl, Buahit. Overnight camping 

Day 6- Ambiko- Ras Dashen- Ambiko 

In the morning you will trek to Ras Dashen, the highest point in the country with an altitude of 4620masl and not difficult to climb. Then trek back to Ambiko and overnight camping 

Day 7- Ambiko- Chenek 

In the morning, trek back to Chenek. Overnight camping 

Day 8- Chenek- Gonder 

After breakfast, drive from Chenek to Gonder. After check-in to hotel and taking little rest, visit the curious symbiosis of Ethiopian and Portuguese architectural representation of the Royal Enclosure which is also known as" the Camelot of Africa", the iconic church of Debre-Birehan-Selassie, bath of king Fasilledes which still in use for the colorful celebration of Ethiopian Epiphany (Timket). Overnight in your Hotel 

Day 9- Gonder- Addis-Departure 

After breakfast, transfer to airport to fly back to Addis. Evening you will have farewell traditional dinner in one of best restaurant in Addis followed by folkloric dance of different Ethiopian nations. Then transfer to airport to fly back home where the tour ends.
